Moravian Children Music Academy

Moravian Children Music Academy is a program that provides the children of the East Harlem Community with the opportunity to learn music. Moravian Children’s Music Academy provides these children with instruments, material and instruction that stimulates and fosters the desire to excel in the Arts. It is our goal to provide a clean, safe and effective environment.

Moravian Children Music Academy will begin with steel orchestra instruction for up to 30 children at minimum of one day per week. The children will learn to play various steel pan instruments. MCMA is a 100% FREE program sponsored by United Moravian Church in conjunction with Eastern District Executive Board of the Moravian Church in North America.

Classes begin July 12, 2013. Sessions are scheduled for Fridays at 3:30pm – 5:30p. Registration is ongoing year round. Snacks are provided.
